How to put on a wig step by step?

Step 1: Preparation

Wash your scalp with cleanser and water to ensure the application area is free of oil. Scalp protection shower directly on the head to act as a boundary between the skin and the adhesive.

Apply glue with the brush to the areas where the wig will be attached. Using the cold air setting, cure the glue for approximately 30 seconds.

Place the front part of the wig on your temple and press firmly with both hands for at least 60 seconds. Add the sides to coordinate with your scalp regions and press firmly again for a moment longer.

Step 2: Cut the lace on the red hair full wig

This should only be done the first time you wear your wig and should not be done if the lace has been handled well by the manufacturer. To manipulate the lace, put the wig on your head. Use bobby pins to hold the wig hair and pull it away from your scalp line.

Trim any lace that protrudes from the hairline of the wig with sharp scissors. Cut limited amounts of molding at a time to avoid overcutting by coincidence. Be careful not to cut the hair of the wig. Leave some trim beyond the hairline of the wig, but about 1 inch.

Step 3: Protect your skin

Clean the skin at the hairline with a cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol to remove body oils that could prevent the wig glue from holding properly.

In the meantime, apply a scalp protectant to the skin next to the hairline. This may be essential if you have delicate skin.

Step 4: Apply Adhesive

Using your fingers, apply your number one edge control product or gel to smooth your edges.

In the case of using a sticky paste, apply a delicate layer to the entire hairline with a small cosmetic brush or concealer glue. In case the use of soft tacky glue won’t have a significant influence on the wig right away. Wait until the pasta has become raw. If hard glue is used, the wig can be applied quickly, as this type of paste adheres immediately.

Step 5: Put on the wig

Align the part of the wig as desired and use the hairpiece brushes to position it on your hair. Be careful not to shoot too close!

Those adding a paste wig should start by tying the wig at the hairline in the front center of the forehead. Gently press the edge of the wig against the attached skin, working around the hairline until it sticks around the entire hairline.

Step 6: Style your wig

Pull the red hair wig down and adjust it as needed. The level crimp can help smooth the top by mimicking your hair. Press the edges of the wig for five seconds to make the adhesive stick to your skin. Style the wig as desired.

How to make the wig look natural?

Ask a stylist to trim your wig

In fact, just like with your natural hair, you can have your wig cut by an expert beautician to achieve the style that best suits your face shape. This will make the style display smoother. For best results, ask your beautician to trim the wig while you wear it.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions when caring for your wig.

Ensuring your wig is on target will help extend the life of your wig and keep it looking as normal and strong as possible.
